Tony is looking to have a full year in 2018 with live performances and appearances. Click on the pictures for more info and to book - and don't forget to check back regularly for new updates.

As part of the Southend-on-Sea festival, Tony will be joining Suki Webster (the Comedy Store Players, Paul Merton's Impro Chums) and his dear friend Richard Vranch (Whose Line Is It Anyway, the Comedy Store Players) in a one-off improv special organised by The Laughter Academy's Lee Tearell.

This will probably be your only chance this year to catch Tony live in Southend, so please don't miss out. Tickets are limited.

Tony will be in conversation with comedy historian Robert Ross at Bloomsbury's Museum of Comedy for two nights. Join Tony as he talks candidly about his life both onscreen and off.

This is a Work In Progress show which will be a preview of Tony's Edinburgh Fringe show in August. See it before we add a lot of mawkish drivel in the forlorn hope of impressing the festival judges!

Thursday 26th July, 5.00pm, York

As part of the Great Yorkshire Fringe, Tony will be appearing as Guest Skipper on the Thursday afternoon! An hour on the narrowboat with Captain Slattery making it up as he goes along - will it be a legendary day in comedy? Or will we all drown horribly? There's only one way to find out!

You can contact the Great Yorkshire Fringe Box Office on

For two shows in the 2018 Great Yorkshire Fringe, Tony Slattery will be in conversation with comedy historian Robert Ross. Join Tony as he talks candidly about his life both onscreen and off.

This is a Work In Progress show which will be a preview of Tony's Edinburgh Fringe show in August. See it before the legal team makes us cut all the libel out!

Tony Slattery, the Doctor who never was! Fresh from The Capitol III convention with the Doctor Who Appreciation Society and in anticipation of the new Doctor in October, Who At Hoylake have a one-day convention which will be MC'd by Tony (auditionee for the Eighth Doctor). Guests include Katy Manning, Sophie Aldred, Michael Troughton, David Banks, Philip Hinchcliffe and Matthew Waterhouse. There are still some tickets available and the ticket price INCLUDES autographs on personal items from all guests. This is truly the antidote to ludicrous overpriced corporate conventions.

If there's one medium we all know Tony from, it's improvised comedy. From the early days of Whose Line Is It Anyway, improv and Tony have conducted a messy public love affair like two infatuated swans photobombing Henley Regatta.

Don't miss this chance to watch Tony's return to live improv at The Wro Comedy Club. Tickets are available soon from the Wro website.

The Stand Comedy Club hosts the final Work in Progress of Tony's brand new show before we head to Edinburgh for the Fringe. Leading comedy historian Robert Ross will guide us through a tour of Tony's career as a comedian, improviser, actor, presenter and maniac. When we tried this in Leicester Square Theatre he ended up wrestling a man to the floor. What will happen in Newcastle? Come and find out!

The Suggestibles are one of Newcastle's leading improv comedy troupes. They say that if you like Whose Line Is It Anyway, you'll love their shows. How much truer will that be with Tony Slattery joining the line-up?

For one night only, Tony is out to play on the Toon. Expect tickets to be snapped up fast...

This is it. This is the one it's all been building towards.

After playing to packed houses last year, with a return to his greatest triumph Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Tony Slattery is back with a no-holds-barred reflection on his life and work. As you would expect of the king of improvisation, this is an unstructured and unpredictable gallop through several lifetimes’ worth of poignant and hilarious anecdotes. Tony will be present representing the Footlights team of 1981 who won the very first Edinburgh Award (or Perrier Award as it was then). Come and see some of the best comedians in the world donate their all for medical research!
